Owner, Creative Director

Our business journey began after owner Leda Anderson planned her own wedding in 2014, and realized this was a very real opportunity where she could use her creative talents, but also serve and love others in an intentional way.

Our team cares about our clients and their families in purposeful and real ways, and I know that sets us apart from other event planning teams. We are intentionally creative in the way we view an event, and use our talents to design events that are exciting and push the bounds of your typical ‘Pinterest wedding’.

I want our clients to know we care about the details, the design and desire clients who value that, too. We work well with clients who care deeply for their family and guest experience, as it goes hand in hand!

When I'm not overseeing our creative team, you can find me binge-watching Netflix documentaries with my husband Zac, going for a run, snuggling my son Beau, reading or drinking a good glass of Cabernet with friends.

in a real way

Lead Planner & Coordinator

Growing up with a big family, home always had the sweet memory of my hardworking mother being an exquisite homemaker. Her home wasn't just for us - she constantly opened up our home to anyone who needed it. She took great care of people around her, and hospitality was her greatest gift, and that's where I felt inspired, too. On the EHD Team, I'm passionate about making couples realize that we are taking care of them, too, in every aspect. I love being able to create an event for them that they'll want to look back on over and over again. When I'm not busy planning gorgeous events, you can find me baking a good pastry, perusing houses for sale on line (I love old homes!) or riding around on my boyfriend's motorcycle.

Overall, our team values clients who care about people as much as we do. We care about the person planning the event as much as the details.

Lead Coordinator

Growing up in Worthington, Ohio and still sticking around, it's clear I absolutely love Columbus. Working in events has bean an incredible ride, and we get to see so many beautiful moments being a part of this team. My interest in this career sparked after my friends acknowledged that I love to plan things: anything from proms to birthdays, showers and anything in between. I adore being around people and you can often find me talking to everyone I meet! I value human relationships in a different way that allows me to view events in a special kind of light. Outside of wedding weekends, you can find me hanging out with friends exploring different places in Columbus, traveling and watching the latest Netflix series!

Lead Coordinator

I've been an Ohio girl my whole life! Growing up in Cleveland, moving to Cincinnati after college and finally settling in Columbus in 2018. Since moving to Columbus I have been able to focus on finding what excites me most, both professionally and personally. This focus brought me to Events Held Dear, where I have been able to put my details-obsessed personality to life! My favorite parts of a wedding day are witnessing the love between a couple and their families and friends and seeing all of the thoughtful, personal touches come together for the big day. Outside of wedding weekends, you can find me practicing (or teaching!) yoga, trying out new breweries, or gushing over my nephews and niece in Cleveland.
